Berlin is an Architect by training and has combined design, development, and energy technology throughout his career, looking to bring impact solutions for the built environment to mitigate the climate crisis.
Berlin co-founded Mapdwell in 2013, an MIT cleantech spinoff focused on mapping energy opportunities at the building level, at scale. Mapdwell pioneered groundbreaking technology to accurately map rooftop solar energy potential remotely, successfully supporting utilities, municipalities, NGOs, and corporate clients in deploying distributed energy solutions faster and more effectively.
At Palmetto, Eduardo leads the Mapdwell team — deep tech and apps — focused on building cutting edge energy insight data solutions to transform the energy industry through consumer education and action.
He holds a Masters Degree from Harvard University (2011) and lives in Cambridge, Mass. with his wife and three young children.
