As EVP, People & Culture function, Rick oversees the Human Resources strategies and practices with the goal of developing, retaining, and engaging a purpose-driven and energized workforce that creates value for our customers, employees, and our world. Rick advocates for healthy work environments by establishing an open dialogue about health and well-being. At Palmetto, he is focused on the readiness of our employees to meet our future business needs and is responsible for our talent management and development, talent acquisition, total rewards, talent data and analytics, inclusion and diversity, and includes fostering an environment where employees reach their full potential.
Rick joined Palmetto with considerable experience as a business focused Human Resources leader, most recently responsible for over 20,000 employees while serving as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Philips North America. He had previously maintained leadership roles with other mission-based organizations such as Johnson & Johnson and Merck KGaA. Rick holds a Global Executive Masters from Rutgers University and an BA from Boston College. Rick lives in Bedford, MA with his wife, three kids, and two young dogs.
